Steinway & Sons Model L grand was a popular model for pianists seeking a well-balanced, larger-sized grand for private home, studio, or educational use. The Model L was manufactured in the New York factory from 1923 until 2005.
This pre-owned model L has the signature Steinway sound of pianos made during the early twenty-first century and is in excellent condition. This instrument is also signed by the famous American pianist, Roger Williams. According to Wikipedia, he was described by the Los Angeles Times as “one of the most popular instrumentalists of the mid-20th century”, and “the rare instrumental pop artist to strike a lasting commercial chord,” Williams had 22 hit singles–including the chart-topping “Autumn Leaves” in 1955 and “Born Free” in 1966–and 38 hit albums between 1955 and 1972.
This instrument has a traditional and elegant satin ebony finish and was made to complement any decor. As is our policy with all pre-owned Steinway & Sons pianos, we have priced it well below that of a similar new model with an estimated new MSRP of $103,500. The purchase includes:
- Matching bench
- Five-year parts & labor warranty (The same length of time as a new model)
- In-home tuning
- Our 100% lifetime trade-up option
